It's a little early- but I love this time of year. I try to start early every year to make it last longer than the one night. Picked up a few cool things tonight.

I'm hoping some of you will post up some Halloween related pics, stories, etc. to keep the thread going.

Those are cool, I've been looking for Halloween figures, with no luck so far. Only been able to track down some nice skulls. Where'd you find the figures with the glowing eyes?

These two are actually from Long's Drugstore. $4.99 each.
They're those crappy, squishy latex toys that light up and scream when you squeeze them. This kinda stuff is great this time of year.

Ooo. I have a prescription waiting for me at Long's. Definitely swinging by the Halloween aisles..

Thats sweet, I'm not doing jack nada this year (usually go all out). I'm only setting up a halloween Japanese vinyl display which should be looking pretty good by the end of this month.

Cheers all you ghouls, ghost's, witches, and goblins

I'll be doing this for the 2nd year in a row. No breaks, no pause, just 24 hours of straight horror film prints on the big screen!

Image

Its actually 25 hours this year, because Daylight's savings is on this weekend. HA!

I finally get to have some REAL fun this Halloween, taking my wifes little brother Trick Or Treating. Fuck concerts, fuck movies, fuck lame parties with lots of "sexy ::fill in the blank::" costumes, TRICK OR TREAT! Who cares if I'm 27, I'll wear a mask and say I'm 12 with a growth spurt! As long as some other little kids are with me (who are family hence non-creepy) I'm golden!

Now I gotta go to the thrift store and figure out what to be!

Here's more incentive to come to SHOCK IT TO ME! this year!

Image

This year, the SHOCK IT TO ME! Horror Film Festival is proud to present cult actor, Sid Haig to our gruesome guest line-up this year. Mr. Haig began his long career (over 50 films and 350 television episodes) appearing as “Ralphie” in Jack Hill’s SPIDER BABY, and is known today for the creepy clown, “Captain Spaulding,” in Rob Zombie’s HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL’S REJECTS. Sid will be at SHOCK IT TO ME! all weekend, and will be interviewed on stage by our SHOCK IT TO ME! hosts, John Stanley and Ms. Monster on Friday night after our screening of SPIDER BABY!

Check out the all-new SHOCK-IT-TO-ME.com for full details on the show and see who our other guests are!

Sid Haig is great. Met him at SDCC '06. Guy was totally cool and gave me the feeling that the Capt. Spaulding character wasn't too much of a stretch for him(aside from the whole murderer part).

Hey guys who asked about prints. Yes, I think there should be some. I'll try to find out how much they'd be. He usually makes a bunch to hang up, but then sells them at the show too.

I think we might be getting a 3 foot by 4 foot version! ha

That 6 foot paper zombie is brutal. Too bad Halloween isn't that big a tradition in Europe so related gadgets are either not around or slightly expensive.
