There's like 45 Zatoichi films, a whole series of them. Check out Azumi for a cool flick... I actually prefer Shogun Assassin, the bastardized American version of 2 of the lone wolf movies. normally I'm an original is better type guy, but I think the edits give it an entirely different feel. and the music is fantastic! |

i love it all. zatoichi plays on ifc (independent film channel) on saturday mornings, check it out, along with a ton of great samurai movies. i love shogun assasin. i haven't seen all of the lone wolf movies, but i have a couple of the dvds. |
