As of late though not really a comic I picked up two books on R. Crumb. His work ammuses me to no end. Also saw Madman and Black hole on the lists here, those are 2 of my all time favorites. |

Good thread. Living in Japan makes it hard to browse through comics and checking stuff with CDisplay is hardly practical. I'll be looking out for some of the titles mentioned. There is a comic shop in Shibuya, but its a bit of a trek. The one in Shibuya opposite Mandarake was better, but it's closed down now( or moved???). Currently I'm just reading The Walking Dead, just finished All Star Superman ( LOVE Quietly's work, have done since his 2000ad stufff). Also interested to see where Morrison is taking the Dark Knight in RIP Batman. Sometimes I put in an order with Amazon for a Titan Dan Dare reprint (I can recommend the trilogy comprising of 'the man from nowhere', 'Rogue Planet' and 'Reign of the Robots). Great fun but very 'wholesome'.) , or one of the 2000ad case files, but most of the money goes on toys nowadays! |

All-star Superman was fucking great. Just a great series even if you don't like comics. |

Joe wrote: Quote: CREED by Trent Kaniuga Are there new ones? I remember when he started this back in so long ago. No new ones but I have been buying direct from him for years and have scored allot of unreleased one-off stories (if you consider them new), prequils, ashcans, and some of his B&W unreleased books. Great guy but extremely slow to ship anything. He sells allot on eB also. |
