Velvet Revolver? Really? I thought they were terrible and nothing like Queens of the Stone Age. This First Guns N Roses album was a great debut. It kills anything STP, Velvet Revolver and later GNR albums did. |

All I ever heard with VR was Guns N Roses minus a decent rhythm guitarist and singer. First time someone played them to me I was like "damn Axl really sounds different". Still not as bad as Audioslave however. |

I never really got that vibe from them, but maybe because I've really only heard their singles on the radio. To me they always sounded like generic radio rock...which was probably what they were going for to begin with. I agree with brooks, QOTSA kick ass. |

My Pointless Observation of the Day, 15 Nov 08: The current financial crisis reminds me of the time at camp when I was pulled from my bed at two in the morning and forced to search for owls. |

Owls, huh? That's strange. It reminds me of when I was 18 and moved out of my parents house to live in a crappy apt. and work a crappy job and live off of Ramen Noodles. |
