A new tribute to Blaxploitation movies of the '70s starring Michael Jai White from SPAWN! This is going to be playing the upcoming Sundance Film Festival and then will make the rounds at other fests and hopefully a wide theatrical release! Dig it!

The trailer I saw was pretty amazing. Of course, I love vintage blaxploitation films so I'm kind of predisposed to this, but it doesn't look TOO tongue-in-cheek (any more than the original films did, anyhow). Fuck-all chance of seeing this in a theater here, though.

Either you get Blaxploitation pics or you don't... So, if THE HUMAN TORANDO, TROUBLE MAN, TRUCK TURNER or COFFY isn't your bag, then you probably aren't going to be into it. Either that, or one is just too post-modern-cynical/ironic for one's own good...

Besides, it's got to be better than I'M GONNA GIT YOU SUCKA!, right? :twisted:
