ALL of my toys are in my bedroom for the moment. I like waking up and seeing them. I haven't worked out a situation to put them anywhere else yet, though I DO like them all over the house. My old appartment was awesome, I had stuff in every room, sometimes really subtle too. Like I had an old "Aliens" toy hanging from some unused vents in my bathroom above the toilet ready to attack. My wife doesn't care what's in the bedroom, either, since no one but us really go in there. I don't know what she's trying to say about my toys. |

hopefully i never get in the mood to burn all my vinyl toys! and i can't keep my toys in my bedroom. there is no lock on that door, and my son would totally destroy everything. i have a room i tend to call my fortress of solitude. it houses all my comics, toys, and records. thankfully my wife ok'd the use of the third bedroom as my nerd haven! |

My main shelves are in front of my bed. I wake up to them...and the colorful things I see before I sleep... |

All the vinyls in the bedroom. The glow stuff is my night light, so I don't get too scared. |

No. No toys in the bedroom. In fact the only things in the bedroom are my bed and the computer. All the toys are in the living room. =) |

My toys are displayed outside in the living room since I hang out there the most. I sometimes would pick a piece to have on the nightstand for fun. |

I kept my stuff in the bedroom walk-in closet. Just arrange them on the shelf. They were out of the sun, and I didn't have to worry about knocking them over or anything. Plus, I could just close the door when I needed a break from them--or needed some time alone with them for that matter, heh. Also keeping them in there gave my gf a break from the madness as well (though she never bitched when they were out in the open, but I know she probably likes it this way better). I like the balance too. Occasionally, I'll have new GID or favorite on the nightstand when I first get it. Now, everything is packed away until I figure out how I want to display them. I hate dusty figs, and I hate dusting them. |

It gives you some one-on-one time with each figure, gives you a chance to regularly handle them, pick them up, rearrange and, overall, reconnect with each toy. It's my favorite part of cleaning my house! |

i would rather keep my toys in a different room, and have my bedroom be empty except for the bed and what not. however, i only have one room in a shared apartment, so it is my bedroom, toy room, art studio, small library, computer room, dancefloor, etc, etc, etc. |

I have my man cave to and use the seperate bathroom. It has kept up happily married for almost 16 years. We don't share toothpaste or razors. She has the rest of the house and I have my space to lord over. Ike |

I know I've said this a few times before, but the secret to dusting shelved toys well seems to be those "microfiber" dust cloths ... and doing the dusting at least once per season. Those suckers really make the toys look new again without risking scratching the paint. Sometimes I don't even think they're dusty until I clean 'em up, then it becomes obvious that they were. I have a lot of toys in my bedroom, and yeah, the glowies are too much fun when the lights go out. I don't care if people think it's weird and I don't worry about toxicity, although in my former home the vinyl smell was intense on hot days. Current 'hood is generally cooler, and I never smell 'em. |

I have one Detolf in my bedroom and tere is another one in the living room. So far it's OK with the kids jumping around it but I expect to move it eventually. The rest of the toys are in the library, on the book shelves but those mostly are not kaijus. |
