Ok, its time to say it, since this shirt is officially the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Let me start off by saying I totally support Obama, I agree with the majority of h is politics, and I think he will do a lot better for us than the Bush administration

but he is NOT A FUCKING ROCK STAR! He is not a fucking fashion label. If i see one more thugged out dude in a Gaudy blinged out Obama shirt, or a punk dude with his fucking Shepherd Fairy designed poster shirt on, or baseball hats, or 1" buttons, and on I am going to throw up.

He's still a fucking politician, and I still don't trust him as far as I can throw him. He's a smooth talker, a smiling face, and probably a decent guy, but I just don't think we should be making our leaders into celebrities or fashionable products. We should be questioning them, criticizing them, and making sure they do what they said they would.

i know that seems extreme but I"m completely fed up with seeing the obama fashion crowd. Punk and Presidents don't mix!

That secret service guy is like... " If he tries to impale the president on those spikes, I'm totally taking him down."

seeing obama's face all over the place doesnt really bother me. im so excited by the prospect of a leader addressing some real issues in a positive way, i dont care if his image gets super played out on some lame schwag. also, while its sort of cheesy, the bad brains obama shirt is a way for a particular segment of the population to show their support if they want to, who might not identify with other styles.

i would hope that the people manufacturing all of the obama items out there are contributing some of their revenues to something useful and progressive, but i doubt that is the case a good deal of the time. making a quick profit off of somebody elses optimism without contributing in some way to something positive is way worse than seeing the presidents face all over, in my opinion.

it is true that he is still a politician, and the typical frustrations of politics will surely still apply to his administration. i hope everyone informs themselves, and follows very closely the policies and decisions of the obama white house, and makes their voices heard if they disagree with the direction his administration takes us.

I agree, I don't trust him. And I'm pissed that he won't support gay rights (completely, not this wishy washy politician b.s.)! :(

the kid in that pic was a poseur anyways, he's not a punk.
