i hate "Rom-Coms" almost as much as I hate the term "Rom-Com" I really can't even believe that anyone pays to see them. |

Tom Franck used to blog about what he called the Pretty Girls Fall Down Syndrome. Watch any trailer for a romantic comedy and without fail, the lead will do at least one pratfall. "See? It's a comedy because she fell down and that's funny because we tell you it is. Laugh now." I want to see a ROM-com about the Space Knight. |

In all fairness it is funny when people fall down. It's just not funny when it's scripted. |
