or whatever you might be celebrating this time of year.
This board is often a much needed high point in these days and over this odd year it has failed to disappoint. And I don't have to mention the best presents are often the ones we get the folks who run this, Super 7.

So be merry, thanks to all and enjoy.
(now post some holiday photoshopped toys)

I f***ing hate Christmas.
Just wanted to put that out there.
Is it just me?
And before you cry "Scrooge", I've TRIED to like it - honest I have -
but I can't pretend any more ...

Yule is a pagan midwinter festival that was usurped first by the Romans
for the purpose of spreading Judaeo-Christian propaganda,
then by Queen Victoria's husband Albert in order to increase trade with Germany,
and lastly by Coca Cola for the purpose of ... well, selling more Coke.

And now I can't even BUY any Coke cuz the goddam Supermarket is so crowded.
In fact, I can't even GET TO the Supermarket
cuz the GODDAM ROAD IS SO CROWDED.
And that's in Japan!
... THEY DON'T EVEN CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS HERE!!!!!!!

Nevertheless, it's 4am Xmas Day now.
I have the lurgy something rotten (sore throat, headache, fever)
but it's a working day.
I have to go across town and play Santa Claus
for three or four classes of screaming, unappreciative kids
who, frankly, I'd much rather see roasting with chestnuts on an open fire.
I will probably get home about midnight, and my Christmas Dinner will be ramen.

But I digress:

All fine things to celebrate this holiday season. Romans, Queens, Coke, usurping.

I'd hate Christmas too if I had to dress like Santa. I love kids (not in a weird way) and enjoy their company, usually, more than most adults (who are generally more whiney and annoying.) But something about that red fat freak makes them intollerable!

I wish mall Santas had Black Peters and Krampus' with them just to keep them brats in check if not to entertain me at no end.

my boy wanted to ride the reindeer, but the reindeer happened to be my dog, and the dog was dressed like santa. all the same...

Oh damn. That dog looks like he's about to snap and go all Cujo on the poor kid.

Alice-
Christmas still is a pagan holiday as I see it anyway. More people worshiping the false idols of Santa, Xmas tree and the almighty presents than celebrating the "birth of our lord and savior".

What's with that "n" in Santa anyway? Don't they know it's in the wrong spot?

Heh.. Dougal's the dad of a childhood friend of mine. He used to make some killer latex monsters. I remember accidentally walking dogshit all over his living room once. That was a pretty terrible moment. :D
