I always hoped for a 'Tar Man' figure to be made from 1985's 'Return of the Living Dead'...it never happened I dig Romero a lot, and he did start the zombie film genre...but I still would say RotLD is my personal favorite zombie movie... Tar Man ![]() A custom modeler by the name of Dan Perez made a custom build which is pretty sweet... ![]() Here's a video of Tarman if you've never seen the movie... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wV1FKU9Oihw |

yeah, Sideshow's zombie line rocks but you'll need luck and kami-sama's help to get one. Why not wear Erostika's new reversible Zombie hoodie while playing with the walking dead? white black

Those hoodies are cool, too bad they're WAY to expensive. Stupid "fashion." I'd say ROTLD is my 2nd, nothing can beat the original Dawn of the Dead. It is a close second, plus me and Suicide share a birthday! I read somewhere that Max Brooks (now a revered zombie author, but I'm sure most know his work) said he hates ROTLD because it made a joke out of zombies or some dumb lame "I'm too serious hmph!" reason. BUT knowing his dead-pan humor and consistence that zombies are "real" than perhaps I missed HIS joke? Whatever, ROTLD is awesome, forever. I thought it was a serious horror movie as a little kid and it scared the life out of me. "YOU CAN'T KILL ZOMBIES?!?! AAAHHH!" Sorry, all a bit off topic there. Some of these toys are great, I'm totally in the mood lately since I've been hunting the dead all week on Left 4 Dead. |

Saw these in an Akihabara toy shop when i was there early 08. Interchangeable heads for 12" figures. Like the Tom Savini head (59) and the Afro Zombie (57). Number (19) complete with maggots. WIsh i had more cash at the time. Would have grabbed a 12" figure and a few heads. ![]() ![]()

Holy Crap those heads are amazing! I have to find the 'Bob' from Day of the Dead...Savini head is super cool too! I see Tarman in there as well. "That's right, Bob! Say hello to your Aunt Alicia! Say, "Hello, Aunt Alicia!" "Hello!" |

I'll have to get a picture up here of my Japanese Dawn of the Dead toys, they're pretty sweet. The new NECA ones are very cool as well. I happened upon a website recently that had official NOTLD Mego style toys, both in color and black and white versions, although I can't for the life of me remember who made them. Here is a linkie I found: http://www.fearnet.com/news/b10438_nigh ... ected.html and another: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=1584 and some of the stuff on the 'Bay for sale: http://toys.shop.ebay.com/items/Toys-Ho ... 86.c0.m282 Freakin' cool! |
