To answer 200 calls in a 3.5 hour period and listen to cranky old people I FART A LOT about not getting their paper, how they're missing a kmart ad (and please send that out), how they cannot walk 5 feet out of their house to pick the paper up (oh and please send someone out to bring it closer to their door), or anyone of the myriad of bitchy complaints i'm about to get...... What was it I used to do... Oh yeah it was a fun job- Buying records for a record company and dj'ing around NYC. |

I get shit like that all day myself, I'm a meter reader for Con Edison. I get bitched at all day from 7am to like 3pm. I want to choke half of these people, they just don't get it that Con Edison doesn't actually own any power plants any longer, we are just a middle man now. I understand that the bill still comes from us, we maintain all the infrastructure so on and so forth, but rate hikes are not our fault, nor do I have any control over it... |
