I inadvertently let my dust bunny go for a week....what was the harm in letting the little guy float around the house.....but low and behold a week later this is how I found him

Image

What worried me the most was not his size (cause I have seen larger bunnies) it's that he started posturing...trying to take an Alpha role

He showed no signs of being afraid when I approached him and he began to grimace at me

Image

So I did what anyone in my position would do....I kicked him off the step

He then ran into a corner where I was able to block him from going anywhere...that is when he smiled at me with his big toothless hairy grin

Image

He warmed my heart at that time so I picked him up, cuddled him for a bit, then gave him a big warm kiss...After wiping the dog hair, dust, and floor crust from my lips I chucked him in the trash and wished him the best

I can't wait to see what the dust bunny has in store for me next week

That's nasty. I'm sneezing just looking at it.

aww, look at the little fella. dust bunnies breed like regular bunnies. you've probably already got dozens of little ones hiding elsewhere.

Believe me....no matter how good you clean there will always be hiding somewhere

LOL - yeah several but one with a very heavy undercoat - this is what a usual week looks like after sweeping...well not as bad as the summer

I feel your pain. I have a siberian husky that lives indoors. I have to sweep and vacuum daily in the winter. I can't even keep up in the summer. She's well worth it though.

I love when I sweep my place and there is a HUGE dust bunny from floor crap and dog hair. I have this bizarre contest (in my own mind of course) where I try to 'compete' with the prior dust bunny--for size and repulsiveness.

I usually don't mind sweeping up the DBs but what I can't stand is taking out some sticky tape and removing hair from my office chairs. My friend isn't exactly small neither, but hey atleast our trees are always healthy.

Hey, I think maybe you could get a few bucks for that over on the BST thread.

I don't think the trash stopped him, he just moved to my house.
