Yes...this is probably getting ready for Nepi Day (the Hindi New Year)! It is the most important day of the year for Hindu in Indonesia, and every village, town, and city celebrate with a parade. I was there the week before Nepi Day (2006) and was hard pressed not to find street 'garages' full of hard-working Balinese. All of these creatures are hand made!! |

the jolly green giant didn't exactly inspire me to eat my veggies as a kid. i might have thought twice if it were this guy trying to shove broccoli down my throat though. |
