I always had an affinity for Casio G-Shock watches especially the older models like the DW-5600 but it seems like that is also the watch of toymakers in Japan. I noticed Mori rocked one as well as several other dudes like the skulltoyz guy. Picked up a really nice one too while I was there. The Gold 25th Anniversary GW M5625E. So nice. Anyone else like Casio watches and which model? |

Yeah they're cool, I used to have one and lost it, along with a swiss army, or maybe they were stolen as I've searched every inch of my apartment for them Anyway, my new love affair is with Nixon, The golden ticket, I wear it everyday, |

GW 330A all black with gold trim. I have had this watch for about a year, its the best watch ever ! Its been through the ringer, inside work truck, took abuse in the masonry supply yard, chewed on by my dog and its still works like the day I bought it. All I will buy now are G-shocks. |

Yeah, I used to really want some of the game watches...there was one called Atomic Robot and another with a little cartoon turtle that were really neat but I was always outbid when they showed up on auctions. The only collectible/rare one I own is a 80s "Zodiac Watch" from Japan. It is packed away sadly and I don't remember the model #. |

I got an G-shock back in highschool. It was tough as nails but I would have to wear on the underside of my wrist when skateboarding because it's honking size would wreck your wrist. |

First watch I ever bought on my own and it isn't big at all. Just right. |

my dainty girly-wrists are so narrow that most watches look like freakin' wall pieces more than time pieces. When they size the bands on these it's usually down to the last 2 links that I can go (or last notch on a leather band). frustrating since I can't wear anything but some Japanese brands - Tokyo Flash for one |

Not a G-Shock, but I'm rough on a watch, and this is the only one that's survived on my wrist for several years: http://www.amazon.com/Timex-Dress-Ironm ... 00019P5G4/ It's a lump of solid metal, it's awesome. There's a dress version that's really bulletproof, too: http://www.amazon.com/Timex-Ironman-Tri ... 0000TIJXG/ |

I've only owned, must have bought it at least 10 years ago, its a DW-003, its the white and gray/silver one with the BPM counter. I have no idea why I bought that model. I can't were it any longer, I can barely get it to close.. |

JAY wrote: any pic rockin' this piece? no pic of me rockin but it's this model. Gold 25th anniversary. The nicest part about it is that it automatically sets the time for you through radio waves so it's always accurate and it's also solar. The transluscent clear band and face are a nice touch as well.

I had the Godzilla G-Shock for a while, but sold it to a gentleman in Hong Kong. ![]() My favorite Casio is my old runner's watch SDB-500W from the early '90's. It just refuses to die, ... much to the consternation of my colleagues at the office. ![]() They say I should take a picture of it and send it on to this other fun watch museum site. http://www.pocketcalculatorshow.com/nerdwatch/ |
