Dock Ellis pitched a no hitter for the Pirates against the Padres in 1970 while on acid. He also attempted to bean every batter he faced in a game once, successfully hitting the first three, missing the fourth (who walked) and aiming two at the head of the fifth before being pulled by his manager (which is crazy, because these days he would have been tossed after the second or third guy hit). Ozzie Smith is the shortstop (most notably for the Cardinals) who was famous for doing backflips on the field and being an excellent defensive player. |

Wow! He is my hero! Is there a Starting Lineup figure of Dock Ellis? |

I used to sell sports cards at shows when I was 13-15. I was selling starting lineup's at one point. I sold a Christian Laettner for like $75 once cause it was "rare" lol. |

i wish they made a starting lineup of chuck knoblauch in batting stance, cause it would basically be a figure of a baseball player taking a shit on a invisible toilet. |
