One of my guilty pleasures when I go to things like Wondercon is to stop by the Asian DVD booth. This time, the martial arts movie that was highly recommended was the Ip Man Biopic. Ip Man was Bruce Lee's Sifu. wow, just wow. Not only was it one of the best martial arts movies i've seen in a long time, it was definitely one of Donnie Yen's best peformances. I can't praise it enough. you can get it here on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Ip-Man-Simon-Yam/ ... 703&sr=8-1 but I bet you could get it for half the price on ebay or at one of the Asian DVD booths. I paid $15..... If you like Martial Arts movies, this is a must have in your collection.... |
