Quick question. I shipped something to a board member using priority mail on March 14th from San Jose, CA. It arrived in the Richmond, VA facility on March 15th..(not the final destination) All the tracking number says .."In Richmond, VA facility processing"

Anyway it's been in limbo ever since. I asked the USPS two weeks ago and they said to just wait. Well now it's been 30 days and nothing.

I still have the dc and receipt but my question is...has anyone ever had this experience? I've never had the USPS lose or misplace a package and I've never paid for priority and had it be stuck in limbo.
I'm out of state till Saturday but any suggestions would be welcome.

I had something stuck in limbo overseas. Shipped to Japan but for weeks the tracking said the same thing, left the US at such and such time, etc. Anyways I had to contact usps and start a trace so you might want to do that sooner rather than later since it's been plenty of time

Had this happen recently. I shipped something to a friends in LA from SF priority. It got stuck in "processing" in LA in same manner. When he asked they made him wait for a month. A month later, he asked and they basically admitted to losing it. As he was telling me this on the phone the postman walked up with the package labeled "no such address".

I would hound them.
