ANyone use them?? Those tiny little bottles at the checkout counter at the Liquor Store and at 7-11? I was skeptical, but I bought a couple (5 hour Energy and ZipFizz) on a whim and I'll be damned if they didn't actually seem to work. Was it a placebo effect? I don't know, but I Get REALLLY sleepy that last half of my shift at work and these get me through... |

I'll drink a whole one and it'll be hard for me to keep my hands completely still. So I assume it works..for me anyway. |

I tried a 5 hour energy once and felt nothing. RedBull generally gives me a lift, so I stick to that. |

Hail Satan! heh! The niacin is not too high on these. Yes, I had a so-called 'Niacin Flush' one time and thought I was having a stroke or something. Weird and very unpleasant!! |

I take 300mg of niacin every day for my cholesterol and triglycerides, so I get that flush at least 3-4 times a week. Freaky the first few times it happens. |

I have tried a few both at night and at day. I think they work better during the day before your body is tired. The first one I took was 5hour energy and it worked well the first time. Not a placebo effect. The next time it worked kind of okay, about four days after I drank the first bottle. I tried taking them again about four times in the next three weeks and they never worked as well as the first two. maybe spacing them out helps the b-12 alertness shock. i dunno, i'm not planning on getting anymore. maybe..... |

all of this stuff scares the crap out of me. just eat foods that have vitamins, and go to bed at a reasonable hour. this stuff is not normal! |

i tired one about a year ago and it did nothing. i was in bed about an hour later. i'm immune to caffeine though, i've ingested so much of it. i can drink a coke right before bed and sleep like a baby. |
