I went to the San Diego Show last saturday, and I got so disappointed by NIN, they are no longer the industrial, angry, dirty band they use to be, trent reznor now just have a rock band, I miss the old nine inch nails but in the other hand Jane's addiction still rock perry farrell knows how to make a great show |

That's a strange combo?! Yeah, I agree the new NIN is more rock. One of my favorite shows was Marilyn Manson, Jim Rose Sideshow Circus, and NIN! It was $20 and a great time...many, many, many years ago. BTW, enjoy the show! |

This is actually pretty appropriate; money-grubbing "nostalgia" at its most blatant. I saw JA twice on their first "big" tour and it worked great in a small club atmosphere; they actually seemed to give a shit about playing. Later, after they got bigger, it just seemed ridiculously overblown. From what I've seen of this tour, they're a sad vaudeville act, playing nothing but 20-year-old songs; and Perry's voice is shot. I feel bad for Eric Avery; I actually had respect for him in regard to saying "fuck you" to all the reunions - maybe he's just broke. NIN I saw for the first time a couple of years ago (never really cared for them), and it was like seeing U2 - a lot of fancy lights, stage business, and posing. Meh. |

Nin and James were both incredible, but it sucked that NIN played during the day. The show I went to also was a bit disappointing because Siouxsie was sick and didn't play |

That was the one with Butthole Surfers, NIN, Janes, Ice-t and Body Count, Siouxise and other bands. That and 92 were the only years I went but I remember Janes. Jeez Perry Farrell must be at least 50 by now. Weird |

Weird Oh yeah..Janes played...I thought you meant the Jim Rose/Marilyn Manson thing...sorry my bad. yeah that was one of two times that I saw Jane's. once at a smaller venue for ritual and then lollapalooza. interestingly enough i only went to those two as well My favorite on the second year were Lush and JAMC, although those dudes just hung out behind the amps and groaned while sitting on the ground. |

WTF - NIN opening for Jane's Addition!!!! This screwed up my whole Friggin night since I stood in line buying t-shirts and missed two songs Disappointed that NIN didn't have a more fitting ending other then the final song |

I didn't go to the NIN show in San Diego because the ticket price was outrageous. $100 right? Would be so sad if I misread. Danlord, did they play "Non-Entity"? |

A friend of mine said that Reznor's voice was shot and that Perry Farrell's voice was even worse. I could be wrong, but I think tix were only $20 here in the Bay Area. Ticket Master fees probably brought it up to about $100, though. LOL |
