Is anyone here good at donkey kong? I started playing it again after watching king of kong and man!!! it's so hard. I wish he managed to get the record. A guy I work with here used to write for Twin Galaxies and has met a bunch of those guys. |

In King of Kong they show steve weibe's diagrams for the levels. I liked the game...but not enough to meticulously draw up patterns and such. I'll let the pro's handle it The DK high score stuff is impressive, but i'm equally impressed watching something like this, Legend of zelda for SNES in 2 hours, insane. |

I love how Wiebe is all about trying to beat the record in the open with an audience, but Billy Mitchell won't play in public (what a dick). I have faith that Wiebe will take the top spot! I once scored 200,000 on DK! Not even close to these guys, but very exciting for me! |

Steve may not be destined to beat Billy officially. If I remember right from the movie... he did actually beat his score but just not on camera officially. I played a lot of DK but never got anywhere close to these kinds of scores...it is a hard game. I enjoyed watching some of the live clips of the screen yesterday...it's amazing how this guy plays! You do start noticing a pattern to his movement on each level though. |
