here's a link to a decent article about some of the trash that i am into...

http://www.bleedingskull.com/features/sov2.html

and even if you don't dig sov films, you should read through the bleedingskull reviews.
they are hilarious. especially the mountaintop motel massacre and the last slumber party reviews....

I watch a lot of B (and Z) films...mostly horror. Your holy grail has peaked my interest; let me tell you it was hard to find a vhs rip to download, and hopefully it'll finish in a week or so, lol.

I now am researching the SOV (shot on video) sub genre, and I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to view some of these. I mean I have sat through some pretty awful films; Redneck Zombies, Blood Freak 1972 (probably worst ever),Curse of the Cannibal Confederates (2nd worst ever?), etc. But a lot of these seem on par with high school film student movies! Don't know if I can stomach some of them.

I do love bad movies when they don't move too slow, and are entertaining for reasons not intended. ie. The Room (Tommy Wiseau), Troll 2, Shark Attack 3, Plan 9 from outer space

Have you ever seen Bloodsucking Freaks?

yeah, 555 is pretty hard to find. i luckily found this copy pretty cheap, and the condition of the box totally shows why. they usually run around $75 to $100 on the bay, amazon, or half.com.

bad movies rule. it's kinda of slow-paced hobby, since alot of 80's and early 90s sov flicks are hard to find. lately a bunch have seen dvd releases though for super cheap. camp motion pictures is a great company to look into for that stuff. their dvd releases usually run between $5 and $10 anywhere. i think their current library includes Ghoul School, Video Violence 1 & 2, Cannibal Campout, Splatter Farm, & Splatter Beach. The latter 2 i recommend, and anything else by Mark & John Polonia.

i prefer stuff shot on SuperVHS, as long as its edited smoothly. i'm pretty open to all types of badness, but my turn offs are slow pacing and bad sound. i can handle all the other garbage.

i have a pretty extensive collection of bad films, so if you want to swap titles and recommendations, drop me a pm. i'm always looking to find out about more "lost" titles....

I have always been into horror movies and I've always been intrigued by this underground low budget stuff, but I could never really get into collecting them. I once knew a guy the worked with Troma and I got a ton of their DVDs...but we had a major falling out and I got rid of them all.
I am actually in the background of the intro to "Zombiegedon", not that that's anything to brag about because it's an awful movie.
Anywho, cool find!

Wow, I've never met anyone who ever even heard of the Polonia brothers, let alone liked them!

Feeders has to be one of the all-time worst movies I've seen, and I've seen a lot of pretty terrible movies. But half of the stuff I got when I finished my internship at Troma was so bad I never even got around to starting it, let alone finishing it. Are there really that many people who need creative tax shelters?

I wish Troma would focus on QUALITY and not quantity! :(

I love the oral scene in blood sucking freaks...hands down my favorite part of the movie. It ranks right up with "pissing on hospitality" from Troll 2 :D
