For those of you in town this weekend and in the mood for some good Japanese food, there is a pair of robataya styled restaurants that just opened up. Its a tad expensive but the food quality is very good and the atmosphere is nice. Anyways just tossing it out there for anyone who is interested... http://okanus.com/ http://www.sandiegotown.com/restaurant/?id=2493 Anyone else can feel free to post their other (non In N' Out |

Ciro's New York Style Pizza 534 Market St (between 5th Ave & 6th Ave) San Diego, CA 92101 (619) 696-0405 Wed-Sat 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m Its five or six bucks depending on special for two slices and a fountain drink. Thin crust, not for deep dish lovers. In case you aren't feeling the legendary double doubles and still want to save money for con stuff, veggie alternatives as well, call ahead though it varies daily. Close to 5 and a Dime and the armory as well. One of my favorite food spots to go when I was at SDSU. |

Jobber wrote: Vegetarian Mexican food = Pokez!! 10th + E st Pokez sucks, went once and the service was horrible. It took for ever. Its cheap if you got the time to waste. When we got our check the guy mentioned his staph infection to the waitress that was trying to nap... I know I was not to return. Sipz is good for vegans/vegetarians and I always hit Royal Thai a few blocks away from the con on 5th I believe... And for Mexican veggie breakfast, again if you got the time on 30th st Rancho's |

If you want Japanese food, try the tasting menu at Nobu's at the Hard Rock... and I know how much you guys are dropping on vinyl, so I know you can afford it. |
