So, maybe someone (or many) can shed some light on question that I have long been curious over. (Seeing some of the Gargamel camo-sprays made me think even harder about this.) When spraying soft vinyl toys, especially production runs (or anything greater than a 1/1), how do you maintain the pattern consistency? Does the painter make some sort of pattern first? Secondly, even if there is a "pattern", how do you prevent one color from bleeding into another? thanks! |

I second your wonder. How do they paint the Skullbrain fighter's teeth? Do they put little pieces of tape to mask it off? |

Also get Toy Punks volume 1. Watch Kiyoka spray the Camo Hedos. Every move is very precise. |

I forgot his name, I lost to him in the pencil fight, but I was talking to the film maker about the second one coming out. It sounds just sick, so much inside the world and lives of Japanese toy producers and how the process is done. Just sick! I can't wait! By the way the film guy, super damn cool and laid back, had a lot of fun that day! |
