Huge Braves fan...and once again this season we get to within striking distance of the Phils and then blow two or three to a last place team...ugh... So far this season this has happened five times....twice against the Nationals, twice against the Pirates, and now the freaking Padres... |

I went to the Giants game Saturday evening and after the Giants won we got to go down on the field and sit on the outfield grass to watch Night of the Living Dead on the jumbotron. It was Creature Features night and it was hosted by none other than John Stanley. There was even a live pre-film interview with Judith O'Dea who played Barbra in the film. A commemorative GID t-shirt was part of the package, too. Awesome!!!! Truth be told, though, I'm an A's fan first.

^^ That looks amazing! BTW, what are the Dodgers gonna do with Jim Thome? He can't play first anymore (and the Dodgers have Loney over there anyway), are they going to use the #12 all-time HR hitter as a pinch hitter? That just doesn't seem right to me. |

I heard the Dodgers picked up Thome so that he wasnt headed to either the Giants or Rockies(it was one of the two teams i just dont remember). Dodgers also picked up Garland at the last minute from the D Backs cock blocking the Rockies from the trade. God I hope the Dodgers lose early... |
