They are remaking Plan 9 and I spit on your grave... Seriously, if there were 2 films that shouldn't ever be remade. but then Cronenberg is remaking his remake of the Fly, so... |

The most disturbing thing about this is mixing the Chinese into the new plot. Yeah, I know it's a way to make it contemporary, but to what end? China is not an enemy of the U.S. Are they wishing for retro-Cold War nostalgia? Because remaking Red Dawn outside of the Cold War threat seems ridiculous. Where is the tension coming from? |

Exactly! I actually was certain when I first heard about this that it would be Al Quaida that showed up as the enemy. LOL... glad I didn't bet money on that theory. |
