this is probably why moving the con to Las Vegas at some point will make sense...there's way too many fucking people who want to go and as big as the SDCC location is, they need more space. so crazy they go so early. |

I finally wised up and bought my 2010 4 day passes (with preview night) on the last day of this year's Con. I got screwed out of '09's full 4 day pass by waiting too long in '08 and didn't want that to happen again. Preview Night has become just as packed as the other nights, they might as well just sell it as a separate day and be done with it. Or charge for a full Weds day pass and then you can pay to help with the booth set-ups.

The Kaiju Fiends Dinner made up for what I missed at the preview in spades and some people were kind enough to pick up a few things for me at the preview. Since I don't have a ticket for preview night in 2010, If the dinner/party happens again I'll be there. |

I mean I would like to attend, but year after year of missing it, what I really enjoy seeing are the pics of the parties that take place either before or after. I would love to hang out with members more than anything. And with my new Job I doubt I will be able to take that much time off anyways. As well Pus being at the NYCC will give me time to save up some cash

Last year Preview night was a bust for me...5 minutes after doors opened I was in the Gargamel line and all the good stuff was gone or in the process of being gone.  I wonder if folks with the 4 day pass (no preview night) will still be able to get their badges on Wednesday? |

I don't really have much desire to go until they move it to a better (read: bigger) venue; when I went in '08 it was already pretty much a clusterfuck. Waiting in line for 5+ hours (or more) to get into a panel just feels like a waste of time and money to me. The toy aspect is great, but there's not enough stuff I'm into nowadays to justify airfare, hotel etc. |

SDCC 2010 tickets went on sale 2-3 weeks ago...insane that preview night sold out already. I snagged the 4 day passes (without preview) for me and my son already because this goddamn madness will spread like wildfire. |
