I was walking on the street and found these dudes. They are supposed to be typical Mexican 'alebrijes' but they look like kaiju to me!

They've taken the term 'Seahorse', quite literally in the first photo. Someone has dropped a lot of acid before they got the paper mache out on this one :lol:

I don't know about the Kaiju thing, i mean, are these hand sprayed :wink:

I see what you mean about kaiju. They don't look Japanese obviously but I do see what you mean. The first photo almost reminded me of Dodongo from Ultraman.

Mostly Oaxaca, though. 8)

Hell yes! Oaxaca is capital of alebrijes. I see you know Mexico. Nice.

Good deal you saw what I meant, obviously Kaiju is very Japanese and alebrijes are very Mexican, but in a certain way they are alike. All the monster idea...
