Just wanted to say that it's awesome! It's just like SMB3, but new, and better! |

Yes, it is a lot of fun! The coin battle mode is great for 2 player if yiu don't want to play the main storyline. |

Looks like a great title. Nintendo got it so right. So sad it's taken the big N 3 years to release this one. Three years too late for me. ![]() See you next console release Ninty. |

I'm hoping to get this for Christmas myself. Is it a short game? Will I have reason to continue after I've beaten it? I only ask because "The NEW Super Mario Bros." for the DS, though enjoyable, felt short to me and I never felt like going back through it. I also felt "Mario Galaxy" was WAAAYYY too easy and beat it within less than a month (considering I only don't play frequently, that's too short.) It looks fun, I'm just really paranoid this will be a quick burn out and that's it. |

I can't tell how long it'll take. The way I'm playing it I think it'll be kinda short. It looks like there's about 8 worlds, and maybe 10 levels to each world? I'm already on world 3 and have only played for a few hours. Though I think there's enough in it for me to go back and replay levels to get all the star coins. Also, you have to replay at least one level in each world in order to "save Toad" - that's actually taken me longer than anything else. I traded in 3 games and got it for $6.24, so it easily has the best fun to dollar ratio! |

I'm liking it so far, but I'm still partial to Mario Galaxy. The gf & I have been doing some 2 player co-op... sometimes we forget who is which character and make fantastic blunders that usually result in death. ![]() |

This is on my holiday wish list. I just downloaded smb3 on the wii and am having a blast with it. Just an FYI for wii users, but if you are in a Virtual Arcade game, you can hit the home button and exit to the wii menu, creating a suspension state and save point in any game. So in smb3, where there are no saves in game, I just go to world 1-2 and get a bunch of free 1-ups in the goomba loop, then just save at different points throughout the game. Makes the super difficult game more fun imo, allowing for more exploring, etc. |

This game is great. Spent the better part of last night playing it with a friend and finally got stuck on 8-1. Sometimes having more than one player on the screen is fun and sometimes it just makes things way harder. |

I can't wait to get this game. If you ordered it on Cyber Monday at toysrus.com, you could get 50% off the any other Wii game. So if you bought an expensive game like Band Hero, DJ Hero or Rockband you'd get 50% off. there was also a coupon code for $15 off any $100 purchase. I got DJ Hero and the New Super Mario Bros for $97 shipped to my house. |

Happy Birthday to the original and still amazing Super Mario Bros! 30 years and as good as I ever remember (and I don't think my playing skills have improved in all that time either! hahaha..ha....awwww ![]() ![]() Happy B-day Mario and Luigi, some day you will find the right castle to rescue the Princess. Just probably not when I am at the controls. |
