Is this for real? Wow what's next... cue scary metallic stab sound and let me drop my voice two octaves: "Just when you thought it was safe, the carpet.....watch it get dirty, are there germs in there?, I haven't vacuumed in weeks!" Man they'll make a movie about anything mundane these days.

Dude, I honestly can't think of something scarier IN REAL LIFE than being stuck in the cold on some montain. I mean, the set up sounds nuts and stupid, but the concept of terror through being stranded in those conditions is horrifying. No, chainsaw monsters and giant walking sharks don't scare because they AREN'T REAL. Being stranded like that can be.

I'll watch it on DVD someday than move to a warm climate again out of terror.

OH I agree, being stuck would be scary, but it's just the way the preview played out...pissed off snow lift operator, the kids are baffled, tragedy happens instantly. I mean I know it's a movie and they're pressed for time but the wolf attack? Wolves rarely attack humans and I don't think there has been a fatality in over 100 years, unless you were a child? The girl's hand sticking to the frozen bar, why would you take your gloves off in those temperatures? I'm mainly commenting on how over dramatic it was. I prefer subtle build up like that couple in Deep Water.

Yeah...Open Water was a tad disturbing.
