i just finished watching this documentary on the rock-afire explosion, and i rank it up there with the devil and daniel johnston...
i was a little irritated at how the folks who made the documentary kinda nonchalantly made fun of the hardcore fan chris though...

Wow, takes me back....

We used to have two of these restaurant's in Queensland, Australia during the 80's.
One was on the Gold Coast and one was in Brisbane. They were branded "Charlie Cheese's Pizza Play House"
It was quite an obscure franchise that was gone by the mid to late 80's.
From memory the Gold Coast had these characters (below) and the Brisbane restaurant the ones from the trailer.
Were they called Chucky Cheeses in the States?

Trailer reminds me of King of Kong. Thanks for posting SLM! Gotta check it out :D

chris thrash and his rock-afire explosion doing new pop songs:

some of these are really great, even if you don't like the music involved.
the usher performance is by far my favorite.

wow that trailer was very interesting.

we did not have these up north, at least not in MA when I was growing up. I think we had one Chuck E Cheese but it was far away. I got by on some other arcades locally, but this place looks like it was a lot of fun.

THE HEAVY METAL GANGS OF WADEYE
Earlier this year, the folks at VBS.tv heard faint rumblings of a remote Aboriginal township in Australia with a heavy metal gang problem. According to reports, Wadeye (population 2,232) was basically run by violent, spear-wielding gangs with names like the the Judas Priest Boys, Metallica and Evil Warriors. A team of Vice reporters went to see for themselves and documented the trip on video.

the first video has some harsh animal stuff not for the faint of heart.
