So does anyone here still follow Fear Factory? I was perusing through rasputin records catalog and came across their new album Mechanize. I had no idea something was in the works. Furthermore, they dumped Christian and Raymond and brought back Dino. IMO, Fear Factory hasn't been able to top, 1992’s Soul of a new Machine and 1995’s Demanufacture. With Dino back in the picture, the group is firing on all cylinders and this is one juggernaut of an album. And Burton sings with passion again. I highly recommend checking it out if there still any fans left. |

I did preorder the double cd version. What I heard was a good throwback to the old days. Rhys Fulbert is on board on a couple of song. If that means it's a bit like what Fear Is The Mindkiller was, that 14$ would be well spent ! |

Some of the new songs have been popping up on satellite radio. Sounds good, still heavy with that touch of melody. Vocals do sound good. I will pick the disc up in the future. |
