I would'nt know about this. I remember that a while back, someone here wrote that it was impossible to dislike the Beatles, that people saying so were liars. False. I. Dislike.The Beatles.

I dug it in 1980. I liked how sleazy they looked in the movie and thought it was a cool version. Haven't really heard it since though. |

I haven't seen it since its original theatrical release (has anyone? It's been more or less "disappeared" from film history, and some of y'all weren't even born yet) but as I recall, it suuuuuuucked. It made for a good double date movie though. We had something to laugh about for days afterwards. And yeah, the Tina Turner version is the only one I can think of that "works" besides Lennon's stunning original. But I need to go look up the Arrowsmith. I'll bet it holds up pretty well, but the original will always rule. As I recall Alice Cooper did sort of a silly-twisted version of "Because" for that movie. It's 2010, and Plastic Ono Band is touring. That is odd. |

i don't like aerosmith. the only beatles that i can really listen to are help! through sgt. pepper. the older stuff is alright. their latter stuff is horrid. |
