Filling my iPhone with iTunes Movies and looking for some (rental) suggestions to help fill me fill up the empty space on the my phone and my stint on the other side of the world. Hopefully I won't have to watch all of these on the 16 hour plane ride to Dubai then on the quick 4 hour trip to Bangalore. So far I downloaded: The Collector Black Dynamite Surrogates The Audition Ninja Assassin Looking for Thriller, Horror, Sci-Fi, Comedy, and Indie Films Thanks for any help. |

If you're flying Emirates, which is what I did just about a month ago, the Boeing 777 is pretty awesomely setup for pay-per-access internet and not so insufferable on-demand entertainment. Even in economy, which is where I was. The 10+" screen is not bad either. Go check out their website for info. The seats also have A/C power to charge things, run a laptop, etc.; Also, you can stick a USB drive into a drive slot and watch stuff off of it too. And, of course, you can send email, sms; Shit, it's like I should be getting a commission from them. That 16 hrs is murdr though.. I am unable to sleep on planes, so I was delirious by the time I hit BLR. |

Did the 22 hour flight from Kuwait like 4 times with no Ipod , dvd player or anything. I pretty much slept and read books the whole time. It fucking blows. Do you watch animation at all? Check out Ponyo or spirited away for a departure from your normal hollywood junk. |

One other thought: grab a few seasons of tv series on the cheap. Old or new, like Weeds, Curb or Entourage, if u into these. Thing about half hr shows they're easy to abandon because of meal svc whatev. Also, if u think u be on the subcontinent long-ish (like > 1 wk), sign up for a VPN and u can connect to US srvs and watch US-only content online. Drink canned beverages only! |
