I am glad that you are comfortable enough in your own skin to admit this publically.
On what reservation casino are they playing?

More than comfortable, thank you. The price of tix makes me almost wish it were a casino...

And yes, they will be performing Moving Pictures in its entirety. True, this will be a major nerd fest, but I do not care.

I think they're the opening act for the new Console Energy arena. I've seen them recently and would recommend checking them out if you've liked them at any point in your life. They put on a great stage presentation.

Back in the day, Rush was the best. They are one of the greatest IMO and an inspiration to all bands - shared the earnings equally no matter who wrote the songs, never fought, always the same line up once Neil Peart joined the band, very humble.....

Man, I feel old. But it's cool they are touring. But I'm not going to see them: Too many B.S. nostalgia tours around. I want to remember them back when I was really into them in the early 1980s.

Will say if someone could “revive” real laser shows, I’d love to see the Rush laser show again.

Yaeh - Rush love! I would be pretty stoked to see Moving Pictures in its entirety - being my favorite Rush album - all depends on the venue. Must admit the last time I saw 'em - maybe 5o r so years ago - I did get a bit bored, but the sound wasnt awesome.

Ha! More Rush fans - I might have guessed.
First time I saw 'em was the Farewell to Kings tour in the '70's, and I've probably seen them 10 times since then. They play here pretty much every tour, and sell out more often than not. My wife is actually going with me this time, as she loves Moving Pictures. Great live band; I'm really excited.

Yes, Rush is definitely a "living" band, not some sorry nostalgia act.

My friend says it's too late to make Alex Lifeson mug shot t-shirts but I say it's not.

That made my day. Does she take requests? I'll bet she could do a killer "Roundabout" by Yes.

I love Rush all the way to Grace Under Pressure.
I have seen them about half a dozen times.
And I would buy Snakes and Arrows if I can find a vinyl copy.

My personal I FART A LOT is that tickets to see them in NOLA at the NO arena were almost $90 a pop after fees and taxes. I think that shit is expensive! and also why I did not go see AC/DC...

Tix were $135 at Gibson Amphitheatre here - and WAY popular! Would have loved to have gone, but I'll spend that money on a toy but not a ticket - which says something about F'd up priorities. Everyone I know who went loved this latest tour!

Verizon was great as well. Tix were/are expensive, but they only come around every 5 years (or longer) so I can justify the expense. I'm sure minus all the fees and other bullshit Ticketmaster and whoever else, the price would have probably been closer to $30. For a 2+ hour show I'd say it's a good price point.

And Carl, had you sold me that Onigon, you would have had a little extra coin to justify the ticket and the toy.
