I haven't seen either name on the list of attendees or anything. Bernie Wrightson is sometimes at Chiller Theatre and horror cons out here on the East Coast. do you want to have something signed by him? |

Yeah, good luck meeting up with Bernie! For nearly 10 years I would hit up conventions that he was at, only to find he'd cancel or be away from his table...for HOURS. I came close once -- saw him sitting at a table, made my way toward him and a bunch of hefty con goers blocked my way...then he was gone again! someday... KW |

Bernie is super cool. He was there last year. In college one of my teachers was friends with him and he came in a spoke to our class and showed slides of his work, and gave us a history lesson on him and talked about how he got where he is. It was awesome. He was really cool and is a very talented artist. |

i'd be stoked to meet bernie. his early work with Twisted Tales really got me into comics. there is a new version of his Frankenstein in the very early works that i'm excited about. i've seen some of his original sketches in person and they are amazing. much better than the reproductions in the one book that is out. |

Mike Kaluta, Jeff Jones, Barry Windsor-Smith and Berni Wrightson. Richard Corben. From when I was 10 years old I have loved these guys work. Add Neal Adams and Jim Steranko as well. Then of course Jack Kirby and John Buscema for pure comic book work. I went to an Aaron Horkey show, and saw distinct influences from the first four. WHen I mentioned it to him, he seemed slighltly embarassed, but also excited that someone at the show knew some of his reference points. |

Bernie has VERY nice linework to his artwork... I really enjoy the work of some of the 70's comics artists like Bernie, Mike Ploog, Barry Windsor-Smith, and Richard Corben. (D'oh, Muton beat me to it... |
