Might be old news to some, but I'm looking forward to this book's release. The cover alone is awesome! Anything that preserves the nuts and bolts production of a pre-CGI special effects film is worth it.

I'm a big fan of Star wars. Don't know it I'll get the book, but it certainly appeals to me. Perhaps I'll wait to see some reviews from you guys.

Awesome interview in Vanity Fair over here.

And then another awesome interview with Gary Kurtz over here where he explains his vision for Return of the Jedi. He pretty much wanted Leia to be the only lead character to survive at the end of the film. Which is a tad darker than even I thought, but I think the idea that Han should have died on the Endor raid makes sense.

This is my fave shot. Billy Dee Williams having some coffee or tea from some bric-a-brac mug just before they all sit down for “dinner” with Darth Vader. Awesome!

I decided to go to the local bookstore where I mainly mooch their free cookies and play with their cats and order at full retail.

The way I see it, I like that store and the retail versus discount course balances out all of the cookie eating and cat petting.

"We did cocaine on the set of [The] Empire [Strikes Back], in the ice planet," Fisher said. "I didn't even like coke that much. It was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high."

Actually that’s the key psychological point that separates addicts from folks who can just stop something.

I really don’t know where it stems from but I’m old enough to have heard some variant of that line throughout my life.

Nobody likes the stuff (booze, pot, drugs, etc...) but they are codependent on it.

Fucking addiction.
