I have a box that seems to have stopped at Osaka International airport on May 15 and hasn't moved since then. What happens now? Do they (airport security) contact the sender? I shot an email off to them already but I wasn't sure if there is any other course of action or if anyone else has had a similar issue.

I want my vinyl!

I've had a package being logged as loaded on the plane at Osaka but never arriving in the UK . . . until I fired off some emails ranting about the incompetence and wasted £££ paying for a tracked service that they still managed to fuck up . . . 2 days later it was in my hands!

I also have a package that's still logged as being held in the US despite me having 'em sat on my shelves for nearly a fortnight!

As the recipient all you can do is make enquiries once it's in your country. Any chasing or formal action has to be initiated by the sender.

If no joy after 30 days and it's an option hit 'em with a Paypal claim to light a fire under the senders ass (forcing them to make a claim through their postal service).

This happens to me every now and then too.
I guess it happens if someone forgets/fails to scan the parcel at a certain point (it seems to be always the airport).
The EMS tracking number should work with your national post tracking system once it is in their hands (at least it works with DHL once it is in Germany).
Maybe you want to give it a try.

Good luck!
