I like his first album better. This one has grown on me, but it still feels like he is following a formula. |

I need to get his first...the new one is really growing on me. My only complaint is that some of the songs are way too short...seem like demos instead of finished songs. |

The production quality on the first album isn't as good, but that's one of the reason I like it more. I agree that the songs are too short on this one. Especially the ones with Beck. |

I've found it at local record stores. I've seen it pretty frequently recently, but it seems to be considered somewhat rare. |

For those who don't know. Tobacco is also the main guy behind Black Moth Super Rainbow. If you like this stuff, BMSR is a bit different, but try the album Dandelion Gum. |

And if you've seen tobacco live, it's the stuff that plays on the screen during the show. |

The first dvd is reallly hard to find. I've actually never seen it for sale before. The second one (FUF2) was only sold during his recent tour. A few of them were sold online after the tour, and I was lucky enough to get one. It was funny because they are VHS recordings, but people requested that it be sold on blu-ray, so it was made as a blu-ray/dvd combo. ![]()

Pfft, there's only one Tobacco, and they're this great emo-ish German band. "We're Prepared" rocks my world. http://www.discogs.com/Tobacco-Dont-Deny-Your-Weakness/release/547998 |
