RC aircraft has always been a hobby of mine. I recently wrecked my only airplane (some crap foam Zero plane), so I'm stuck with a crummy chopper for now. Does anyone here have RC aircraft? What do you have? I also do nitro RC cars. Too much maintenance for me, but it is damn worth the fun. |

I once had an OFNA Monster Pirate... that sucker was beefy, badass, and fun to assemble! And some HPi 4wd electric onroad, also 100% built/tuned by me, RTR is for kittie-kats! Planes, etc. are unfortunately too expen$ive... |

I have two RS4s for on-road pleasure (not even going to talk about the CEN CT5, which was a pure waste of money). One is brand new, one was bought used. The used one is a lot more fun to use because the new car has to be broken into a lot (took up a shit load of nitro gas before it was fully fuctional!) I haven't tuned up either cars because I consider myself too amateur for even faster cars. I do go through so many sets of wheels, but its worth it. RTR definitely is for kittie-kats - definitely for planes. A lot of stock engines are crap, so upgrades are always in need. My plane was pretty cool. I was doing a barrel roll and I hit a light poll.. wing was severed pretty bad.. sucks, but at the same time I was laughing my butt off. |
