I was learning Sketchbook Pro through Lynda.com and heard the tutor say "Heighth" instead of "Height" I repeated the video a few times to check if I heard wrong but searching on the Internets found some interesting links. What baffles me is that this tutor is working as a design consultant and illustrator. http://forums.thestranger.com/showthread.php?t=6533 |

And when did Northern California become NorCal? I always thought NorCal was a garbage company in SF. |

I think "heighth" is actually a word it's just really old. I've heard it a lot in technical realms...like construction. It's still annoying. |

I also know that it annoys some people which makes saying it so much fun. |

sndbyte wrote: And when did Northern California become NorCal? I always thought NorCal was a garbage company in SF. Just don't call it "Cali" please. I guess saying "interwebs" with irony is cool, but I despise the uber-geeks who insist that it's more "accurate" than "internet." I'm going to start referring to my "word processor" for irony. |
