It originally aired a while back, but... I just watched this documentary on the History Channel. Pretty cool the technology and techniques they used to recreate the likeness that would have created the face on the Shroud of Turin. I love this kind of stuff so I found it really entertaining. They need to redo the carbon dating on the shroud, being sure not to use a "contaminated" corner. Anyone else see this? wow, combover says the carbon dating is wrong because THERE IS A PAINTING OF THE SHROUD i'm gonna paint myself nude in a pile of money. that way if anyone ever researches me and believes i was just another poor shlub, the painting will prove i was actually a rich asshole! |

I know that's what I was thinking. Unless there was some "Only Jesus' can have shrouds" rule we didn't know about back then? Just think what people will think of Manowar in the future based off of paintings. |
