Beijin had a traffic jam that stretches 62 miles and lasted 9 days. Just imagine getting yourself caught in that!

"The state-run newspaper said the jam between Beijing and Jining city had given birth to a mini-economy with local merchants capitalising on the stranded drivers' predicament by selling them water and food at inflated prices."

It's like something from a J.G. Ballard novel.

You win, I think the longest I was stuck was 8-10 hours because of random miraculous snow in the High Desert in California. I just started reading, listening to music, and I think I even took a nap.

I didn't have a phone at the time and no one was prepared for snow in California so most people ended up staying in their cars and not socializing. I love the cold so I went out for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
