Post subject:  Question

i have a question..maybe one of the O.G.s out there can help me with it..

when someone has items listed separatley for sale, then it turns into an offer to buy the items as a bulk sale, does the seller not want offers for separate figures at this point?

sent a pm (which has been read on their end) to a seller 3 days ago and havent heard back yet. (hence the question offered to you all..) *its crunch time on the birthday clock for my wife...trying to get her some SB obakes and or SB bag men.

thanks for the guidance,

Tony 8)

It depends on the seller. There are a variety of factors for each person. Examples:
- Some sellers may not want the hassel of going to the post office numerous times
- Some may think that the rest of the lot won't sell if he/she sells all the "good" pieces first
- While other sellers may be still willing to sell them seperately

You never know. I've had delayed responses in regards to sales and offers I've made, and ended up happy in the end. It's possible they've received other offers, and may be weighing their options before they respond. SmilingIdiot makes some very valid points... maybe they just aren't willing to sell the whole lot. If they've made that clear in their thread, it's possible they aren't bothering to respond to offers on individual figures. It's always nice to at least get a response from a seller though to let you know where you stand.

Good luck.

thanks for the info Cubensis! i can probably chalk this up as not being patient enough waiting for my reply.

however, a reply of either COOL! or go shove! would be nice after 48 hrs.

either way....im sure more obakes and bagmen will be heading down the sale forum eventually. just wished i would've jumped on them early when it appeared the seller was checking more freq since the sales were coming in.

thank you both for taking the time!

easy,
tony

I understand not wanting to break up a bulk sale for the reason SmilingIdiot gave, but damn if I wouldn't respond to a potential buyer.
That is one thing that upsets me also when you see someone read your pm and you don't hear back from them if you are asking them something. Especially dealing with a sale. Good luck!
