Can anyone give me a lift from SD to LA on the afternoon or evening of July 23, the last day of the SDCC? If so, please PM me. Willing to pay $30 for gas. I will have a suitcase and backpack so I don't want to use public transportation. Pls PM me if you can help out. thx andy |

LOL I don't mind GH for such a short trip. It's more of a logistical issue about getting my stuff to the GH station, and from there to my LA destination. If I can stash my stuff at a left-luggage place at SDCC on SUnday, I might go the public trans. route (if all else fails) |

My husband and I did it last year. In fact, it allowed us to get into the exhibition hall early before all of the line-standers. |

Thanks Laura. That's something I really did need to know! So that makes things even easier. I basically will need a lift from the SDCC-> a place in LA on Sunday. (BTW, I've also criss-crossed the USA several times, on a combo of train, bus, car, plane....everything but cart and buggy. |

I've had several offers, so if all goes well, I should be set. :O) BTW, traveling across the US on Amtrak is pretty cool, especially from Denver to Sacramento... |

No, but NYC-> Seattle is, with parts of Canada added in for good measure. The cross mountain bit was the best part, scenic wise... |
