The man was ahead of his time. He had a pretty good run though, I even thought he was funny in the shitty "Scary Movie" sequals. He's the only reason I'd laugh. |

Fixed. Kinda. And may he rest in peace - I almost died myself when I saw Naked Gun 2 1/2 as a kid. Here's an obituary a German satire magazine (make of that what you will) published today (google translation & Herzog accent added for comic effect): "Actor Leslie Nielsen ("Ze Naked Gun") died at zee age of 84. As ze State Police announced in Florida, was Nielsen slipped while shopping at ze supermarket on a mushy avocado, zen fell over a box of melons in his shopping cart, wif ze rolled up in a can pyramid and zrough a window outside where ze car several cats and grandmas ran over and was only stopped by a fire hydrant, so zat Nielsen was vrown from the cart in a sex shop and zen impaled on a vibrator. Witnesses described ze operation as "very sad" and "absolutely hilarious"." |
