Haha Scott goes through years of selling stuff at below cost and being deemed a Robin Hood of toys and helps tons of us get stuff we'd never get otherwise at those prices then because he tosses some protos and junk on eBay he's become some sort of villain? |

Well maybe not a villain, but I'd say it used up all his karma points. |

Heavily relying on "toy karma" is a fool's move. Build real relationships. Make friends not connections. |

Ghost&Flower wrote: bullshitshark and their apparent fundraiser this comment is rather uncalled for — so, a person has to sell under retail forever to earn and retain karma points? his new venture in building a local vinyl production facility may or may not need a fundraiser, but dismissing it outright seems rude. |

I can't speak for anyone else here...but my ethics aren't on a sliding scale. mostly because sliding happens on slippery slopes. this is "icky" at best. at worst it's... |

There might be underlying circumstances here that we are not aware of. Assumption can get you in all sorts of akward situations. I am just going to put it this way, it is what it is and leave it at that. |

I don't have a problem with selling on ebay (or is selling protos not allowed?) but spamming "bemon gargamel" in that many auction titles at once was annoying. |

I'm the first one to poke a flipper with a needle a really big one some people deem inappropriate, but I think it is a little on the obvious side where this money will go and the fact that it will benefit the toy comunity as a whole, unless there is some giant unheard of story but no one has come forward with any so meh |

Wow, people are ripping on Scott for selling stuff (to fund a venture!) on eBay!?! Lame. Like, super fucking lame. And seriously, I bet he doesn't even break retail on most of that stuff. Starting that stuff off at a penny isn't like starting a Bemon or a Nag off at a penny. Quit yer whining and if you want something bid on it - chances are you'll get it for a steal and you'll help to fund something cool. Asshats. |

kontact wrote: Ummm, S7 employees have sold protos on here, i dont see the difference. He even started the auction at 1 cent. And S7 has sold backstock for more then "retail" and at "market value" (AKA 2-3 x as much as retail) in the shop before. Not trash talking, but they have, I don't see what the big stink is either. As far as them going back to the "community" please, whatever. Like there's some secret flipper group out there to get these? Or some random person's gonna get them? It'll be members of the board and/or S7 fans. |
