I got tickets for Thursday and Friday after an hour and a half. It's a pain for sure.

After giving up and trying again about 4 times ( and 50 or so refreshes later) i finally got a thursday pass.

Hoping i can get a friday pass when the refunds go on sale.

Just keep hitting refresh . . . don't restart the process. Eventually you progress onto the next screen.

It was a sucky process!

I know I've said it before, but after seeing what it's become I'd rather just not go at all. I've lost all interest.

I considered it but know that for me personally . . . sitting on the sidelines would suck too much!

I don't really feel like I'm "sitting on sidelines" as much as I'm "avoiding bullshit" hahaha.

Honestly I'm being harsh and not trying to pee in anyone's punch. I'd like to go again almost totally to see/meet Mori (if he was there) and some board members and that'd be it. The RxH drops there are always cool, but I couldn't care less about most of the other exclusives usually. I'd like to meet people but I just couldn't deal with that crowd overall. But to fly out from Chicago to SD for a 1 day event (since that's all I think my anxiety could tollerate) just is not worth the time off work/school, and overpriced everything else. If I could mooch a hotel room floor for 1 night I'd consider working it out but I actually have bigger trips planned this year so even 1 day in SD would be tough.

Congrats to all going though! They're supposed to expand the convention center eventually right?

I have to agree. the last time I went (2 years ago) it was already a complete clusterfuck. I'm not going just for the toys, but the panels, etc. as well, and it was pretty intolerable. Unless they can figure out a way to divide it between the Hollywood crap and the rest, or find a more suitable venue, I won't even put myself through the $$ and the hassle.

I hate the crowds, I wish the convention would kick out the movie, television, and video game industry. That would get rid of a lot of the overcrowding problems IMO.

Well after 2 frustrating hours trying to get the tickets, just one time got to the last screen and hit the pay button, then I got a "your car was declined" message, I get angry and gave up, left the computer cursing SDCC and their shitty badges sales, but yesterday got my confirmation Email maybe they re-check my entry or I got the wrong message!

my happy now, can't wait to get there!!
