so i don't know if I can/will go full vegetarian, but I'd like to give it a try. I injured my ankle a couple years ago and it just hasn't been the same, so running is out--maybe not entirely, but recently anyway. gained a little weight, so I'd like to try tweaking my diet to help out. I'm into all kinds of cuisine, and I'm no cook--but I open to spending some time in the kitchen and learning. any books you guys find yourself going back to for good ideas? thanks for the help! -g |

I'm almost positive there was already a thread about those lower on the food chain in this section. |

I suggest reading Michael Pollans Food Rules. Being a vegetarian isn't necessary, but being conscious of what you eat is. |
