so i don't know if I can/will go full vegetarian, but I'd like to give it a try. I injured my ankle a couple years ago and it just hasn't been the same, so running is out--maybe not entirely, but recently anyway. gained a little weight, so I'd like to try tweaking my diet to help out.

I'm into all kinds of cuisine, and I'm no cook--but I open to spending some time in the kitchen and learning.

any books you guys find yourself going back to for good ideas?

thanks for the help!

I'm almost positive there was already a thread about those lower on the food chain in this section.

I suggest reading Michael Pollans Food Rules.

Being a vegetarian isn't necessary, but being conscious of what you eat is.
