i saw "New Battles" posted in "Whatever" and my first reaction was literal and unkind.  i've heard from folks that it sounds good so i'll probably give it a shot. fancy cover, insulation material looks too much like dessert.

I was listening to Mirrored the other day, right after listening to Torche's Meanderthal; I love both groups, and it occurred to me that both have lost a member in the last year or so; in both cases, it was a member that really contributed a key element of the band's sound. Then I thought what a kickass bill it would be if the two of them toured together.... then I shook my head, again, about the amount of thought-energy (fantastical, in this case, to boot) I allocate to the bands/music I love...  Innyhoo... I look forward to hearing this.... |

After hearing the album through and through, I gotta say it's a bit lacking. Standout tracks are wallstreeet & futura. That Ice Cream track reminds me of some 311 shit. blah. |

a little late to this party, but the album is good. i don't remember forming this much of an impression on the previous albums/eps as a whole - even if ice cream is weird it still has that going for it, as well as futura and wall street |
