This seems as good a time as any to make sure each and every member in here is aware of one of my very favorite spots on all of the internets. ADC has a crazy wealth of an entire century of Asian film and TV releases, not least of which are a bunch of custom Goji/Gamera titles, every Toho SF flick you've ever heard of, a mess of toku and sentai shows and one very strange monster movie from the Philippines. Good spot.

Six years ago, on May 31st, 2005, AsianDVDClub.org first went online. To celebrate this special date, we have enabled site-wide half-leech for the next two weeks. This means that only half of what you leech will count towards your download stats throughout the period. This also means that only 25% of what you leech on Blu-ray torrents (and other silver torrents) will count towards your stats. Discuss this announcement in our forums.

Celebration: Part Deux
For the second round of our birthday celebration, we've picked about 800 torrents to be golden through June 20th. You can see these birthday torrents on the browse page by clicking here. We've tried to choose a varied selection that includes something everyone can enjoy, with a primary focus on torrents that were custom subtitled by our members. There are a number of non-custom torrents representing more widely available films included in the list as well, to ensure a more balanced selection. Many of the selected torrents have seen their seeder count drop to a single-digit number, and we're hopeful that this celebration will provide them with a new lease on life. But this will only happen if you guys stick around and leave the torrents seeding after you've completed your download.
Therefore, we've added an extra incentive to encourage everyone to keep their downloads during this period seeded so others can download them too. If our total peer count exceeds 85,000 before the celebration ends, we'll push the expiration date for all of the birthday goldens back a week, which will give everyone extra time to download them. This should not be a difficult mark to reach, as long as people seed what they can and do not just hit-and-run. If we manage to break the 95,000 mark, we'll extend the half-leech and keep the birthday torrents golden through the end of June.
Happy leeching and don't forget to seed!

I should add that it would be great if members here started sharing some of their secret stash of kaiju, vinyl, and obscuro asian culture films and musics over there as well. Everybody wins!
